Didática · four faces, one object

This book has four faces.

Not a hierarchy, not a ladder — four surfaces of the same mathematical object, each of which you can enter first. They are Ler, Simular, Provar, and Ensinar — to read, to simulate, to prove, to teach. They travel in Portuguese through every Level. Meet them once, in the legend below, and afterward they will carry you.

Ler
/ler/
Read · C · Compress
From Latin legere, to gather, to choose. In Portuguese ler is also the soft verb of attention — ler alguém, to read a person. This is the face where the book speaks and you listen. The compression begins here: arrive, be present, find the seed. Be here now.
Simular
/simuˈlar/
Simulate · K · Constrain
From Latin simulare, to make alike. Simular is to stand in, to play-act, to let the body take the part of the thing. Feel the soil. Feel the boundary, the city around you, what holds you here. This is the curvature accumulating — the walk becoming real.
Provar
/proˈvar/
Prove · F · Fold
From Latin probare, to test. Portuguese keeps all three meanings alive: to prove, to taste, to try on clothes. The fold point — the root touches the ground, the threshold where the old form cannot continue. A proof, in this book, is something the body checks. The meditation arrives here.
Ensinar
/ẽsiˈnar/
Teach · U · Unfold
From Latin insignare, to point out, to mark. Ensinar is not authority — it is a finger pointing. The unfolding: expansion, the canopy, the 8,500 m² from one root. The book hands you an open problem and you carry it forward. The walk becomes the forest.

Every Level offers all four faces. Each closes by leaving one open problem in your hands. Not because the book forgot to solve it — because that is how the book knows you are learning. This is Axiom 9, Honest Incompleteness, made didactic.

You, the reader, this book will call câmara — companion in the circle. When a Level hands you back an open problem and you carry it out of the book, the sound of your work returning to the roda has a name in Portuguese: ressonância.

"Every session leaves one open problem in the student's hands. This is Axiom 9 (Honest Incompleteness) made didactic." — Vol IV, landing page
Didática · quatro faces, um só objeto

Este livro tem quatro faces.

Não é hierarquia, não é escada — são quatro superfícies do mesmo objeto matemático. Ler, Simular, Provar e Ensinar. Atravessam todos os Níveis sem tradução.

As quatro faces respondem às quatro cores do encadeamento operatorial: C · Comprimir (Ler), K · Curvatura (Simular), F · Filtro (Provar), U · Desdobrar (Ensinar).

Comece a andar.

— Vol. IV

Walk the Boonton Line

The former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Boonton Line runs past 90 Tiffany Blvd. The street is named for the Tiffany & Co. manufacturing plant that stood at Forest Hill station — where American silver was made, where the train served the factory, where the station planned a subway connection that was never built. Passenger service abandoned in 2002. Now proposed as the Ice & Iron Greenway. Put the soundworks on. Begin.

C
90 Tiffany Blvd — the seed
Start here. Stand on the Boonton Line right-of-way. Listen to the ocean layer. This is the compression — arrive in this body, in this soil, in Newark North Ward. Find the irreducible kernel. Be here now.

K
Branch Brook Park — the branches
Walk south through Branch Brook Park. The 1936 Boonton Line railroad bridge — stone arches built to carry silver from the Tiffany factory — spans the Second River. Add the mangue layer. Feel the constraint: the park boundary, the rail corridor, the city around you. The curvature accumulates.
constrain · curvature accumulates · feel the boundary
F
Forest Hill station site — the root touches ground
The fold point. Where the Boonton Line station stood opposite the Tiffany factory. Where the rail network planned a subway connection that was never built. Add 111 Hz. This is the threshold — the aerial root touches the ground, the old form ends, the new form is not yet visible. Stay here. Let it fold.

229 Ballantine Pkwy · Forest Hill — the canopy
The homebase. The Newark Wellness Center. The cajueiro workshops. Add the Reeb helix. The unfold: expansion from the stable root, the canopy above the difficult soil. The seed tends to forest. One day we hope to walk the line.

The soundworks is the score for this walk. Play it before you come. Play it while you walk. After you donate, you are invited to visit the cajueiro — the physical installation at Uceda School of Elizabeth (November 2026) and, when it opens, the homebase at Forest Hill.

From seed to canopy:
the g-series

The dm³ dynamical system passes through five regimes before the helical attractor locks. Each regime has a name, a cycle count, a place on the walk, and a place in the learning body. The g-series is the formal taxonomy — proved in Lean 4, walked in Newark, taught in the book.

g⁰ 0 cycles
Quiescent — the seed at rest
The system is initialised but has not yet oscillated. In the walk: standing at 90 Tiffany Blvd before the first step. In the learner: arrival, full attention, no prior compression. The cajueiro nut before germination.
C · compress · be here now · 90 Tiffany Blvd
2 cycles
Nascent oscillation — the first branches
Two passes through the operator chain. The system is oscillating but not yet stable. The first aerial root is growing toward the ground. In the learner: two genuine K-crossings have fired — something real has changed, but the new structure is fragile. The tree is not yet the tree.
K · constrain · Branch Brook Park · the branches reach
g⁶ 6 cycles
Stable micro-cycle — the root touches ground
Six passes. A stable local attractor has formed. The first aerial root has touched the ground and begun to re-root. In the learner: six K-crossings have consolidated into a micro-competence — you can navigate a narrow domain reliably. The g6 moment is the first stable seed before the canopy.
F · fold · Forest Hill station · root re-roots · fold point
g³³ 33 cycles
Stability threshold — the practitioner
Thirty-three consolidated K-crossings. The formal threshold: in the Lean 4 proof, poincare_collatz_contracting guarantees that consecutive iterates enter the r* basin at or after step 33. In the learner: cortical activation has reduced, dorsal striatum dominates — the practitioner thinks in the domain, not about it. The generator has grown. The apple has begun to shrink.
U · unfold · practitioner threshold · C is small · 33 K-events
g⁶⁴ 64 cycles
Circuit saturation — the full canopy
Sixty-four passes. The helical attractor is fully locked. The Spiral Return theorem (T1) guarantees a non-trivial second circuit: G^{128}(x₀) ≠ x₀. In the learner: the Cajueiro de Pirangi. One seed, 8,500 m², 70 years. The seed tends to forest — in Forest Hill, then on the moon. This is not the end. It is the point from which the next seed falls.
The caju forest in Forest Hill, then on the moon. We dream big.
G = U ∘ F ∘ K ∘ C · 229 Ballantine · the canopy · the moon cajueiro
Lean 4 · GCTC Chain.lean · formally verified

The g-series is not a metaphor. It is a formally proved regime taxonomy in GCTC.Operators.Chain, built on Mathlib4, zero axioms beyond the library. The poincare_collatz_contracting theorem guarantees entry into the r* basin at n ≥ 33 for any contracting G-chain. The Spiral Return theorem T1 guarantees a non-trivial orbit at g64. github.com/TOTOGT/GTCT →

The Vitruvian Approximation · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19984522 · 2026

Does the GCM/TO/TOGT operator framework, applied honestly, say anything new about which rational approximations arise naturally within its structure?

The answer is: partly. The G-cycle provides a clean, explicit route to the Rhind Papyrus approximation — recovering an ancient result via a single deterministic operator pass. The dm³ stability conditions confirm that the Rhind compression ratio is admissible in the basin sense but do not select it. A proposed selection functional 𝒞_rat has the continued-fraction convergents of π as its minimizers — but whether iterated G generates those convergents as outputs remains an open problem, honestly marked sorry in the Lean formalization.

One operator. Any domain. Foundations that hold to g⁵-hyper-Mahlo.
No other framework makes all three claims.
