What this book does
It starts at one turn and roots outward. A novice meets i = √−1 and reaches for "imaginary = not real"; the first job is to dismantle that reflex. i is a 90° rotation — two of them make a half-turn, J² = -id. Not wordplay but a derived fact from Vol IV Ch 15, and it is where io, the imaginary origin, begins: i the rotation, o the point it turns about.
From that turn the book does three things. First, it roots the mathematics — the complex structure, the E₈ root system read as the operator chain G = U ∘ F ∘ K ∘ C, and the explicit operators behind it. Second, it tests the chain against biology — the same chain appearing in molecular proofreading, microtubule assembly, development, immune selection, cardiac rhythm, and neural attractors — held to a standard where an overstated claim is corrected in public, not quietly. Third, it carries the applied work — formally verified differential equations, seismic and atmospheric structure, energy and transport systems, and the technology and IP portfolio.
The mathematics is not imposed on these domains. The claim of the book is that it was already there — and, where it can be, the claim is machine-checked (AXLE / Lean 4) rather than asserted.

The four-vow structure belongs at the end — after E₈ and twelve biological proofs, not as an epigraph. Vowing to attempt a theorem means more after 200 pages than as a cute opener on page one.
