The journal now has a newsletter. It is opt-in, free, a few times a year, and the sign-up sits at the foot of this page. No list was bought, harvested, or lifted from a conference roster — the addresses come only from people who ask for them. That is a deliberate constraint, not a limitation: a letter that arrives because it was requested is read differently from one that arrives because an address leaked.
A few times a year, when an issue goes out. No list bought, harvested, or lifted from a conference roster. Unsubscribe by replying with the word stop.
The occasion is a tool for teachers. A free, browser-based visualizer of Chladni figures and nodal sets — the square and circular plates, the sphere, Saturn’s hexagon — runs entirely offline, in any classroom, under CC BY 4.0 and MIT. Bring a real Chladni plate, or the video; open the visualizer beside it; and a student sees the pattern and the mathematics that makes it in the same moment. It goes first to the mathematics teachers of the XII Bienal da SBM in Natal — the people with the students to bring it to.
The visualizer and the nodal-sets page are linked from the exhibit; the newsletter sign-up is on issue No. 1’s front page. Both are free, and both are meant to be handed on.

Photograph the Moon at the same clock-time each day for a month and it will not stay put: it traces a leaning figure-eight across the sky — its analemma. A small browser clock now runs on that figure. The Moon rides a Gerono lemniscate (the series’ own analemma form) once per synodic month, its lit face the true phase, over an ordinary 24-hour civil dial. It runs offline, shows lunar age and illumination, needs no install. The phase and age are computed from the date; the curve is the lemniscate model, honestly labelled as such rather than a latitude-specific sky trace.
The analemma is not fixed year to year. The Moon’s orbit tilts about 5.1° to the ecliptic, and the points where it crosses — its nodes — regress once every 18.6 years. That slowly swings the Moon’s monthly reach between a major standstill (declination near ±28.5°) and a minor one (near ±18.3°), so the whole figure breathes on an 18.6-year period. The 29.5-day month therefore sits inside a much slower cycle — a detail folded into the clock’s companion chapter, the Circadian Trader.
Made to be watched, and to be handed to a classroom — a small object where time, phase, and a two-decade rhythm sit on one face.
A new portrait enters Book VII’s gallery: Primo Levi (1919–1987), chemist, writer, witness — the older cousin of Susumu Kitagawa, already there. The Periodic Table (1975) reads twenty-one moments of a life through twenty-one elements until chemistry and memoir cannot be pulled apart; The Wrench (1978) makes il lavoro ben fatto, work done well, one of the nearest things to freedom a person gets.
Levi’s faith in work is not cheap. He was a slave labourer at Auschwitz III–Monowitz, the IG Farben Buna plant, under the motto that lied that work sets you free. Having seen work weaponised, he reclaimed it from the far side. The chapter dissolves the old grammar in which negotium is merely “not-leisure”: the opposite of good work is not rest but coerced or meaningless work — and it cross-links to the Circadian Trader, which asks what work’s rhythm is.
Pablo Nogueira Grossi (G6 LLC) drafted the theoretical framework and preprint. Zila Sousa (UERJ) and Felipe de Aquino (ASTRO34) are set to run the DRIFTS experiments — not yet performed. Confidential, early-stage IP: further mechanistic detail is withheld by design, not omission. New this week: a route to fund those runs — New Jersey's CSIT R&D Voucher (up to $40,000 for instrument time and technician support at an approved NJ core facility) covers exactly this kind of in-situ measurement, and NJIT's analytical-chemistry facilities qualify. A scope is drafted; the facility confirmation is the next call. Funding avenue, not secured.
A source-checked chapter on cacao, tea, pepper, and sugar — four substances that moved empires, told through pharmacology as much as history. Book VI.
RNA riboswitches, NGS bridge amplification, and microtubule curvature, read through the same contact-geometric operator chain — three biological domains, not one framework stretched to fit them.
Also underway: a companion paper bridging the dm³ operator chain to ADE Dynkin diagrams and the McKay correspondence. The finite-subgroup bridge is tagged conjectural until it is proved, not before.
All seven submissions accepted: five at the XII Bienal da Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática (UFRN, Natal, Aug 3–7) — times and rooms below confirmed directly against SBM's official accepted-submissions lists — and two at the XIII LAW3M (Latin American Workshop on Magnetism, Magnetic Materials and Their Applications, organized by ALMA; Natal-RN, Oct 19–23). LAW3M's own site lists formal notifications going out July 31; session slots aren't published yet.

Five free bilingual (Portuguese/English) community workshops are planned for October 2026 through January 2027, alongside the longer-term Newark Wellness Center vision at Forest Hill. The venue has changed: Uceda School of Elizabeth closed last month, so sessions move to a wider circuit — local public libraries in the Newark/Elizabeth, NJ area, plus New York Public Library (NYPL) branches. This is a separate ask from the Natal travel above. NYFA fiscal sponsorship is confirmed for this project, but this particular appeal runs direct, outside the NYFA channel — not tax-deductible.
A separate note on the JOMO/FOMO game-theoretic model — its equilibrium fraction f* = 1 − c/δ checked against replicator dynamics — is also in preparation.
Portuguese/English workshops, free and open to any English level, October 2026 through January 2027, meeting across a wider library circuit — local public libraries in the Newark/Elizabeth, NJ area, plus New York Public Library (NYPL) branches. The reading text is Book 3 of Principia Orthogona (“The Mini-Beast”), billed C1→C2 English for Researchers — built for exactly this kind of bilingual, concept-first language learning.

Open calls on two fronts: Lean 4 / Mathlib4 formalization work on the AXLE proof library (open obligations, sorry-closing, new theorem ports), and domain-expert pilots carrying the dm³ operator chain into other fields — biotech, architecture, neuroscience, climate, urban planning, the arts. Co-author the cross-domain volume or lead a pilot in your field.
