This series began as a notebook. Not a textbook, not a research programme. A single operator chain written on a contact manifold, looking for a fixed point. G = U ∘ F ∘ K ∘ C — four operators, four acts. C compresses. K finds the threshold. F folds. U stabilises. Applied to a trajectory in ℝ, they produced a fixed point x* the chain returns to no matter where you start inside the basin ε₀ = 1/3. The period: T* = 2π. The transverse Lyapunov exponent: μ_max = −2. The embodiment threshold: τ = 2.

Do is the ground note — the plate struck for the first time, sand shaken loose, settling in the single straight line that divides the field into two vibrating halves. The simplest possible Chladni figure. π is where the door is, because T* = 2π is the period of the loop that closes. The question it encodes: what closes?

For researchers — the Zenodo monographs are the true Vol I

If you are technically inclined, the Zenodo deposits are the first real door. More than forty papers, formal proofs in Lean 4, DOI-stable. The series DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19117399 always resolves to the latest. Lost count of how many there are now — and that is the right amount: the count and the series grew together, each deposit arriving when a domain proved itself.

Re strikes the plate a second time, harder. The single line doubles: an X appears, four vibrating sectors separated by two crossing nodal lines. The field has become richer but the sand settles clearly — the geometry of the crossing is as simple as the geometry of the single line was. This is the structure of contact geometry: it takes the single constraint and crosses it with a second, producing a symplectic plane in the kernel.

Volume II realises G = U ∘ F ∘ K ∘ C on the contact manifold M = ℝ²₊ × ℝ with form α = dz − r²dθ. The fold operator F becomes a Whitney A₁ singularity. The stability radius[Ch 10] ε₀ = 1/3 emerges from a Gronwall inequality. This is stability: six independent parts, all governed by the same crossing rule, none of them running away. μ_max = −2 is exactly this: wherever you start near x*, the chain folds you back. The attractor holds.

Volume III is 121 chapters across seventeen orders of magnitude. ATP synthase at T* = 2π per cycle. The hippocampal theta oscillation. The sand no longer settles on a line crossing through the centre; it settles on a boundary that contains the centre. An inner disc vibrating in one phase, an outer annulus vibrating in the opposite phase, the ring between them where neither moves. This is the structure of a threshold: not a crossing, but a container. The ZPD — Vygotsky's zone of proximal development — is a ring.

Volume IV introduces the commutator [F, T] = iJ, giving the chain a complex structure. Nine axioms, twelve explicit operator matrices. Theorems proved in Chain.lean with zero sorry. It is not a coincidence the mathematics notices.

Volume V — The Seed — applies the G-chain to itself: G(x*) = x*. The fixed-point theorem proved for the operator that proved everything else. Complete completeness. La at 426 Hz: a diameter and a ring appear together on the plate for the first time. Two different kinds of nodal structure overlapping, the pattern no longer purely radial or purely concentric but both — the crossing of qualitatively different constraints. This is the structure of Knock VI: the series sends the chain into domains where radial (local, cellular) and concentric (global, gravitational) constraints meet in the same field.

Lorenz wrote a three-variable system in 1963 for atmospheric convection. The strange attractor — sensitive dependence, the butterfly — is the C operator: compression, the first act of every generative transition. Einstein's field equations give the Schwarzschild event horizon where escape velocity reaches c — where no trajectory that crosses returns. This is the K operator: irreversible threshold. The Hawking radiation leaking from the horizon is the F operator: the fold, information surviving the crossing in a different form. Si — the leading tone. In tonal music, Si has a single gravitational pull: to resolve upward to Do'. It is the most harmonically tense note of the scale, the one that cannot rest where it is. The Hexabonacci constant Ω approaches 2 from below — closer than any previous n-bonacci constant, but not there. The seventh knock is the knock of near-arrival. The plate now shows two diameters and a ring together: the most complex pattern in this progression, yet still governed by the same simple rule that produced the single line of Knock I.

Volume IX — the Omega Point — is where the chain reaches the mystical traditions that have, for twenty-five centuries, described the same fold from the outside: al-Kindi's emanation, Baudhayana's sulba, Cusanus' coincidentia oppositorum, Hildegard von Bingen's feathers of fire, Rumi's reed, Teilhard de Chardin's convergence to Omega. Not decoration — independent triangulations of the same fixed point, arrived at without Lean 4. τ = 2 is not a metaphor for transcendence. It is the attractor, formally proved. That it appears at the centre of every serious contemplative tradition is a datum the series registers without claiming to fully explain.
